The only thing I have to say is this...............Mary Jane...be it medical or not can.... A) Halt the gas hikes (ie Hempanol) B) is a renewable resource!!! C) Grows almost anywhere! D) Is a great remedie for all kinds of things as small as a headache, to as large as lack of appetite from cancer treatments....Not to mention instant relief from nausea!.... E) A great fabric which grows much faster than cotton. F) Is a much nicer buzz, than alcohol..... and does 0 damage to your liver!!!!! All this, and there is 0 side effects....imagine why the Paper, drug, oil, wood, you name it industry would want to illegalize the drug known as Marijuana???.... You guessed it Mary jane is a weed.... which means it'll grow ANYWHERE....which means lack of control....lack of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

One thing I know to be true after reading your story......... YOUR LIFE WAS NOT WASTED!!!! The experience you have gained is freeing. It sounds as if your hubby was using relig. to control both you, and your family. BUT YOU were able to release your children from that bondage. What a gift. Some of us have spent most of our lives realizing that bondage is what it was. YOU have shed light for your kids. You should be proud, and peaceful, that your job as a parent has been fulfilled in that you have passed on valuable experience to them, and this will be one less thing they will have to deal with. Welcome, and it has been a pleasure to hear from you. please continue.

Do You Agree That Jehovah's Witnesses Are Perverted?
by minimus inthey are one perverted group!
they pervert christianity and everything it stands for.. they pervert whatever is considered "truth" by making up new definitions of whatever word they want.
for example, a "lie" is not necessarily a lie to a jw.

I think ALL religion is perverted.....and I dare you to convince me otherwise....You don't know, and neither do I. PERIOD.

Christ I wanna get shunned!!!!! I got tattoos, cuss, and do drugs......still I don't get shunned 'cause I've been inactive for sooooo long..... The local jw's always treat me with respect, and kindness.....Is it me?..... Maybe the sight of you, makes them think, and they aren't quite ready to confront you one, on one... I feel bad for them.....you are free of that craziness, and can live life truly lovingly....They on the other hand are not.....

Well..........to that i need to bring up the 'Change ' factor..... We all change as we grow both spiritually, as well as physically. What felt like a connection beyond all comprehension in the past, can turn quite suddenly (it may seem) into " I just don't know you anymore....', or "You've changed". It may be even more subtle in that one persons interests have changed over time, and that connection has been lost with that. While I agree that respect is one thing that will help a relationship stay together....I cannot agree that it will KEEP a relationship together. In fact quite the opposite. both people may see the changes each have made through life, and realize it would be unfair to each other to carry on like the connection between them has not been effected . When it becomes apparent that with those changes has been growth in different directions....and a certain amount of unhappiness. Who can have the heart to stay committed in something that brings mutual discontent?

Hey. By my last comments please do not think that I feel love is not possible. Hope4others....i can tell you are a very loving person, and I don't mean to be a damper on that. I was just giving my opinion to the question posed...... I do not believe in soul mates......but I do believe in love, Commitment, caring, understanding, empathy, self sacrifice, and all the rest.....all things required to maintain a LONG lasting relationship! I can relate to your feelings for your father, and it makes me strive even harder to be all the more available to my own wonderful daughter...... It's amazing how much our own children can teach us about ourselves.....and our own issues growing up, if only we're open to it. Your question is heartfelt, and to that I can only be honest... To ME....there is no such thing as a soul mate, love at first sight....or any other romanticized rubbish. Only a good fit between two eff'd up individuals, who have a reason greater than themselves to commit to making things work. whether it be children, financial...or just caring so deeply for that person, that you wouldn't have the heart to ever abandon them...physically, or emotionally. Call it cynical. i call it realism.
